Reforming Planning and Construction in Malta, published in October 2020, is a set of proposals aimed at improving the quality of life of residents across Malta and Gozo besieged by relentless onslaught of the development industry.
With 134 proposals spread over six different sectors, this document aims to introduce wholesome changes to the way the industry is run, focusing on better rights for residents and construction workers, planning policies, the composition of planning boards, enforcement, high rise projects, traffic, the ecosystem and many other issues.
This document has been drafted by Moviment Graffitti in consultation with technical and legal experts, and endorsed by a number of NGOs.
